Loud 'n' Proud is a new type of music magazine, focused mainly on the alternative genre of music. Loud 'n' Proud offers event/tour dates, CD/EP releases and reviews.
Loud 'n' Proud magazine is directed towards both male and female students around the ages of 16-22.The readers are of the age where they want to learn more about the genre they enjoy and specifically the bands that the readers are interested in. Loud 'n' Proud will give the readers the oppertunity to see and learn more about the genre and the bands they enjoy.
Loud 'n' Proud magazine is also directing products that will appeal to the target audience such as Alcohol brands such as Strongbow, Carling and Fosters. Or the latest offers within the latest offers on music for example 10% sale in stores such as HMV.
Loud 'n' Proud offers truthful reviews from Music Journalists, Bad or Good reviews they believe that the readers deserve that thhe readers deserve the truth before they purchase the track.
The Loud 'n' Proud magazine is too entertain and educate their readers within the Alternative scene.
The first issue of the magazine will be avaliable on the 30th Oct 2010 and aims to capture approx 30,000 readers within the first year of publishing.

Why Alternative Student?: Focused on the alternative genre and style of music, with a particular interest in mainstream bands such as My Chemical Romance.
What are they wearing?: Females: Skinny jeans, skate shoes branded by DCs/Vans/Animal etc... A tight fit Ladies t-shirt branded by a band name or slogan.
Males: Straight cut or skinny jeans, Skate shoes 2 sizes too big for them branded by Vans/Etnies/DC/Animal etc. A baggie hoodie branded by a band name or slogan.
What are they listening too?: Mainly mainstream alternatives such as My Chemical Romance, A Day To Remember, Paramore, The Used and You Me At Six. Also interested in local bands and gigs. Listen to mainly music channels such as Kerrang!, NME, Skuzz.
Where would you find them? At local and mainstream gigs, music stores such as HMV Zavvi, and at alternatice clothing stores such as blue banana. Usually hang around in groups in towns and local parks on a saturday afternon.

My front cover!
The front cover of my magazine will have 3 images on. The main image will be of 2 pupils one in a new uniform, the second of a pupil in the sixth form gaining help from a teacher for the summer exams and the third of the new lifts that have been installed this year to make the school disabled friendly.
